Hi, I love this color. I can only find it at literally one chain of stores. I heard it was discontinued a while back, but luckily I can still get it for now. I don't know if it was really discontinued, but that is a BIG SHAME. Not only is the color great, but I love the ammonia free formula. I was skeptical at first, would it really work without the stinky, toxic ammonia? But it does, and I love not dealing with bad chemicals anymore. Ammonia hair dye used to make my scalp itch while I was dying it, and then a bunch of my hair would fall out when I washed it out - not a good sign at all. People are always complementing me on my hair, even at the salon. They think I pay out the nose to have my hair dyed. So, if you really discontinued it, please bring this color and ammonia free formula back right now! Nothing else compares. Your competitor with their ammonia free Olia brand has a bunch of complaints on their website that the hair dye washes out right away. Thanks
Yes, I recommend this product
I used this color for years. But I haven't been able to find it in quite a while at any store in my area. I've looked at CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, Kmart, Meijer and Target. Everyone just stopped carrying it one day. I miss this color so much. I got complimented on my hair color wherever I went. I've never had a nicer shade of red, even when I've paid $100+ dollars at the salon. It had good staying power, stayed vibrant for longer than anything I've ever used. My problem with most red dyes is that they eventually turn dark or even black on my hair after I've used them for a while. This color never did. I used it every 6-8 weeks for years and it never looked anything but perfect. Has it actually been discontinued? I certainly hope not. That would be such a terrible shame since it is a truly awesome product!
Bought this product hoping to get a red tint to my hair. Instead I ended up with blotchy spots all over my hair. It looked absolutely horrible.
No, I don’t recommend this product
It is truly unfortunate AshleyMariee, that the Color Me Vibrant did not dazzle you with a deep red hue. Blotchy color results are never good to paint the town.
